- J. S. Bach Three Preludes and

- One French Suite
One additional work (Italian Concerto, organ transcriptions, etc.)
- Scarlatti, Soler Two works (sonatas,
suite, or chaconne) Handel, etc.
Classical:
- Mozart One sonata
- Haydn One sonata
- Beethoven Two sonatas
Romantic:
- Chopin: Two Nocturnes, two Preludes,
two Waltzes, two Etudes, one Mazurka, one larger work (Ballade, Polonaise, Scherzo,
etc.)
- Schumann One work (Fantasiestücke,
op. 12, Arabesque, op. 18, etc.)
- Schubert Two works (Impromptus,
op. 90 or 142, Moments Musicaux, op. 94, etc.)
- Brahms Two works (Pieces from
op. 76, 116, 117, 118, 119, or Rhapsodies op. 79, etc.)
- Liszt One work (Consolation, Liebesträume,

Twentieth-century:

a guideline for learning the four-year repertoire list. This schedule should be regarded
as flexible and adaptable to the needs nad interests of the individual student.
