  Snare Drum: Extensive technique concentration during the first two semesters. Single and double strokes, closed rolls and basic rudiments are covered in detail.

Keyboard
Percussion: Begin technical studies with all major scales, chromatic scales, and major arpeggios. Sight reading is emphasized.

  The final semester is reserved for work toward the Senior Recital, along with continued emphasis on orchestral repertoire.
