Admissions

California State University, Stanislaus provides professional training and artistic development in music.  The Department of Music offers the Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in choral and instrumental music education, performance, composition, and jazz studies, and the Bachelor of Arts in Music (B.A) in general music and music technology, as well as a Liberal Studies Concentration in Music.  The diverse curriculum also accommodates students who are pursuing other fields of study and choose music as an elective.

The faculty are highly accomplished professional performers, conductors, composers, and educators who are active regionally, nationally, and internationally.  They work closely with students to provide the broadest range of support to ensure academic and artistic success.

Auditions information

Entrance and scholarship auditions are held several times throughout the year for entering freshmen and transfer students. 

The next audition date is March 20, 2010, from 10am-1pm.
