Dr. Brown has designed and taught classes in management, leadership, organizational behavior, and small business management for eleven years, with an emphasis on interactive learning and student involvement.
Dr. Brown is currently serving as Director of the School's MBA program. The program has been thoroughly revised as of 1997 with a new "culminating experience" option for prospective graduates.
In addition to the degrees listed above he has participated in a Graduate Professional Development Program, sponsored by National Training Laboratories. In the past 6 years, he has presented papers and led interactive workshops at the Western Academy of Management meetings, the annual Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference, the Western Decision Sciences Institute, the American Society of Business and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Brown is currently working on a business ethics research project. In Spring 2000, he will be presenting a paper on intrinsic job motivation at the Western Decision Sciences Conference. Over the past ten years, he has conducted training seminars in the areas of employee involvement, teamwork, and organizational change. |
