What To Do On Move-In Day
It's your first day......What do you need to do?
  1. Bring your campus ID card or a valid photo ID to campus.
  2. Locate the check-in station and sign in to receive your keys
    • Coming east on Monte Vista turn left onto Crowell Road.  Turn left at the second entrance into campus, Ansel Adams Road.
  3. Proceed to the unloading area and unload your vehicle promptly
    • Follow the directional signs
  4. Move your vehicle(s) to a designated parking lot to open up space in the unloading area for other students
  5. Chat with our volunteers as they help you find your assigned room and move your personal belongings there.
  6. Encourage your parents to attend the Parent Orientation in the Village Cafe at 2pm.
  7. Meet your roommates and then start unpacking
  8. Plan to purchase your parking permit at the University Cashier’s Office on Monday.
  9. Join fellow residents and their families for a Welcome Dinner from 4:30p.m.-6:00p.m. It's our version of a welcome mixer, dinner style
  10. Attend your first floor meeting. Meet your RA and break the ice with your floor mates
  11. Attend the town hall style community meeting with your floor
  12. Join the staff and fellow residents at the ice cream social
