What To Do On Move-In Day
It's your first day......What do you need to do?
- Bring your campus ID card or a valid photo ID to campus.
- Locate the check-in station and sign in to receive your keys
- Coming east on Monte Vista turn left onto Crowell Road. Turn left at the second entrance into campus, Ansel Adams Road.
- Proceed to the unloading area and unload your vehicle promptly
- Follow the directional signs
- Move your vehicle(s) to a designated parking lot to open up space in the unloading area for other students
- Chat with our volunteers as they help you find your assigned room and move your personal belongings there.
- Encourage your parents to attend the Parent Orientation in the Village Cafe at 2pm.
- Meet your roommates and then start unpacking
- Plan to purchase your parking permit at the University Cashier’s Office on Monday.
- Join fellow residents and their families for a Welcome Dinner from 4:30p.m.-6:00p.m. It's our version of a welcome mixer, dinner style
- Attend your first floor meeting. Meet your RA and break the ice with your floor mates
- Attend the town hall style community meeting with your floor
- Join the staff and fellow residents at the ice cream social
