Eligibility
Most registered students at Stanislaus State are automatically eligible for health care at the Student Health Center. Your University tuition includes a mandatory student health fee that covers all visits and many services at the Student Health Center. Payment is due on the day services are rendered. Minimal charges are assessed for certain services such as physical examinations, various laboratory tests, all pharmacy items and specialized radiology services.
Extended Education and Continuing Students:
For students enrolled through a graduate program or Extended Education, your fees may not include the health center fee. Please call Enrollment Services at (209) 667-3264 to verify what is included in your tuition fees.

There is a $15.00 administrative fee associated with the following types of physicals:
- Athletic
- Nursing
- Travel Academic
- Travel Non-Academic
- Employment
Please bring all required paperwork to your appointment. The Student Health Center does not have copies of documentation required by these programs. If you do not have the required paperwork when you arrive for your appointment, you will be rescheduled.
Referrals
When services are needed that are beyond our scope of practice, the SHC can make referrals utilizing the patient's health insurance parameters.
