The National Gallery of Writing
Everyone is invited to submit their writing to the GVWP Gallery and celebrate writing with us by attending any of the events listed below.
Literacy Conference at Roosevelt School
Students moved from writing presentations throughout the day. Teachers and community members presented the writing lessons to students.

Family Literacy Night: "Day of the Writer"
Jefferson Elementary School District in Tracy hosted a literacy night attended by many families in the district.

Calla High Writes Meaningfully
Calla High School in Manteca used an extended period to write from prompts, "This I Believe," axioms, or questions from Proust's Questionnaire. Over 200 students and teachers participated and submitted their essays to their principal.

Students at East Union High School published their creative writing into a self-published book available on Lulu.com.
