California State University, Stanislaus Auxiliary Business Services (ABS) built a modern 13,000 GSF bookstore to replace the previous 5,472 GSF bookstore, which was too small to meet the needs of a growing student population. The University benefits from having a modern bookstore with reading space, convenient meeting places, and a larger selection of general books and supplies. The bookstore occupies an area south of the Student Union Building and north of Science I. Construction started in October 2007 and the facility opened on October 6, 2008.
