Parking Lot 2 Reconstruction the planning to reconstruct parking lot 2 (southeast corner of campus) will begin in June 2010. The parking lot is over 40 years old, pavement and concrete has deteriorated beyond repair and landscape no longer exists due to tree root damage. The reconstructed lot will be designed to provide parking efficiency, new irrigation and landscape. The project will also include constructing a vehicle entrance on the north side of the campus. Other items that will be considered in the planning are electric charging stations and solar panels to offset electricity cost for lighting. Construction is estimated to begin summer 2011.
PROJECT COST: $950,000 |
