POSITION: Part-Time Instructors:  The Department of Social Work invites applications for part-time instructors at the rank of lecturer.  The persons appointed to these positions will teach one or more graduate level courses in Foundation or Advanced Social Work Practice, Human Behavior and the Social Environment, or Research Methods and Data Analysis, or will serve as faculty field liaisons for field practicum classes, SW 5040 Field Instruction I and/or SW5041 Field Instruction II.  Faculty liaisons (also identified by some universities as field faculty) serve as the primary link between placement agencies and the MSW program.  Beyond the normal responsibilities associated with this role, maintaining good public relations is an essential dimension.  Faculty liaisons serve as the primary university representative in collaborations involving field instructors and students in practicum. Faculty liaisons are expected to participate in student field orientations and field instructor training.
