POSITION:
|
The Department of Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Associate Professor. The person appointed to this position will teach in the areas of corrections and criminological theory. Additional duties will include serving as Director of our Master of Arts in Criminal Justice program. Effective teaching, scholarly productivity, and service to the University are required for retention, promotion, and tenure. This position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding. |
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:

A PhD in Criminal Justice or a related discipline is required. Other minimum qualifications include experience teaching in or directing a graduate program, and scholarly and teaching experience commensurate with the rank of Associate Professor. |
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
|
A potential candidate’s consideration will be enhanced by providing evidence of directing a graduate program or other academic program. |
