What: 14th Annual Central California Math Project Conference
When: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. April 5
Where: CSU Stanislaus, Demergasso-Bava Hall
Details: CSU Stanislaus students, K-12 teachers, school and county administrators are invited to participate in the annual Central California Math Project Conference. The all-day conference will include a range of topics on current issues in K-12 mathematics education, including: trends in education reform, Common Core Standards, enjoying the transition to Common Core, techniques for teaching ELLs, algebra in high school chemistry, tips on using technology in the classroom, and tried and tested practical strategies from experienced teachers on reviewing and re-teaching with pizzazz. Conference presenters and facilitators will include classroom teachers, math faculty and education specialists.
Registration is $25 due by March 28 or $35 after March 28 and on-site. The registration fee includes lunch and conference materials. Professional development hours are available.
