Submit to Penumbra
Call for Submissions of poetry, short fiction, creative non-fiction and artwork
Submission deadline: Friday, February 1, 2012
Send no more than a total of five submissions. Incomplete entries will not be considered. Affiliation with the University is not required. Early entries are appreciated.
Submission guidelines:
Provide a cover letter that includes:
- a list of submitted work
- a brief biography in first person (not to exceed three lines)
- your name, address, e-mail, and telephone number
Written submissions:
Enclose two hard copies of all work. Include your name and contact information on one copy only. Include a CD with your cover letter and all written work saved as separate files in .rtf format.
Art submissions:
No hard copies are needed
Artwork should contain the title of the work saved to a CD in .jpg format. All art submissions will be printed in black and white, except for one piece chosen for the color cover.
