Dr. Chet Jensen is a Professor in the Department of Advanced Studies in Education.  Dr. Jensen worked in public education for 15 years, prior to joining CSU Stanislaus.  Dr. Jensen was the recipient of the School Administration Professor of the Year Award from the Association of California School Administrators in 2005.  Dr. Jensen’s specialization is in the study of perception related to policy and program effectiveness.  In the past five years, Prof. Jensen has made presentations at more than 15 conferences.  Courses taught at CSU Stanislaus include: Educational Leadership: Legal Framework; Educational Leadership; Personnel Management; Seminar: School Finance and School Law; and Principalship and School Management.  Since joining CSU Stanislaus in 2000, Dr. Jensen has supervised 99 thesis projects.  Prof. Jensen holds a doctorate in Educational Administration/Curriculum and Instruction from the University of the Pacific.
