The California State University (CSU) Chancellor's Doctoral Incentive Program (CDIP) offers financial loans and mentoring opportunities to promising doctoral students who aspire to become CSU instructional faculty. Since 1987, CDIP has loaned $49 million to 2,081 doctoral students. More than half of CDIP scholars have obtained faculty positions at a CSU campus.

The mission of the Faculty Mentor Program is to encourage faculty-student interaction outside the classroom through mentoring relationships that improve academic achievement, increase student retention rates, and improve the graduation rates of educationally disadvantaged students.

The LGBTQ+ Mentor Program Seeks to Connect LGBTQ+ Students with LGBTQ+ Faculty and Staff to provide support to students who are out on campus, in the process of coming out, or who feel they are unable to come out. This program helps LGBTQ+ students connect to the larger LGBTQ+ community, both here at Stan State and in the surrounding communities.

The PEER Project of Stanislaus State creates prevention and education-related activities to eliminate the stigma associated with mental health issues and reduce risk of student suicide. It is their mission to empower students to recognize and support individuals who are at risk on our campus.
