Recycling

California State University, Stanislaus has a recycling program resulting in a 60% diversion from the landfill. Capital Planning and Facilities Management (CPFM) is committed to support the mission and goals of the university through sustainable efforts from the planning and design process, to construction, to daily maintenance operations and facility related services. CPFM is working with partners across campus to create a more sustainable, resilient, and equitable university.

What & How to Recycle

Faculty and staff members are provided with a single recycling bin for their office in addition to a small trash container. Most buildings have at least one recycling station and larger buildings often have collection areas on each floor. Outdoor recycling containers are located across campus. Faculty, staff, and students are responsible for delivering recyclables to the collection areas.
