Anxiety: What is it and how do I manage it?

Anxiety is everywhere and is one of the most common reasons college students seek counseling services.  Anxiety can affect how we take exams, how we socialize with others, how we make presentations in front of class, and whether we tend to avoid certain situations or places.  This workshop will help you to understand what anxiety is.  And… by request, will include more strategies and techniques to help you manage your anxiety.

The More You Know, The More You Can Help

A fun interactive workshop designed to address a serious issue affecting college students across the U.S. The audience will learn reasons that students contemplate suicide in the midst of emotional distress. The audience will: (1) learn to identify warning signs and (2) gain knowledge on what to do when either they, or a loved one, is in crisis. Sit back, relax, and join us for a thought provoking hour 1/2 of skits, conversation, resources and light refreshments.
