As of the Fall 2021 Dean’s List publication, Academic Affairs will oversee the Dean’s List Certificate dissemination. Hard copies will no longer be printed. Students receiving the Dean's List award be notified by the Provosts office through their @csustan.edu email.   

Each college will continue to publish the names provided by the register’s office on their respective pages.  Please note, a student’s official transcript is the only form to formally recognize this status. 

For questions about your status, or questions regarding your GPA, please contact Enrollment Services.  

If you would like your name removed from public platforms, please contact Enrollment Services to fill out the appropriate paperwork.

How to Qualify for Dean’s List of Students  

To qualify for the Dean’s list during the semester under consideration, a student must:  

  • Register for and earn a minimum of 12 units of credit of graded coursework at the university, and  
  • Achieve a 3.5 grade point average for all coursework attempted at the University that semester.  

To qualify for the Honors list during the semester under consideration, a student must:  

  • Register for and earn a minimum of 8 to 11 units of graded coursework at the university, and  
  • Achieve a 3.5 grade point average for all coursework attempted at the University that semester.  
Dean's and Honor's Published Lists

Student forms can be found on the Enrollment Services website.  Due to telecommuting, signature processes for forms have been updated.  Please follow the instructions on the form on how to route for signature.  

The Commons is a resource center and study space for students.  All current students can use the tables and whiteboards for study sessions and group work.  It also contains a wide variety of STEM textbooks and professional and academic exam preparation materials for the GRE, MCAT, OAT, etc. that is available for student to check out.

The Commons is located in Naraghi Hall room 124.

STEM Collaboratory provides an environment to support collaboration and cooperation among STEM students and faculty in pursuit of STEM education and research through interaction, communication, and knowledge-sharing.  All current students are welcome to use the tables, chairs and whiteboard for study sessions and group work.

The STEM Collaboratory space is located on the first floor of Naraghi Hall outside of the Commons (Naraghi Hall room 124).
