• An educated workforce is critical to the state economy. By 2025, 41 percent of California jobs will require at least a bachelor's degree. The state is projected to face a shortage of one million college graduates in the same year. (Public Policy Institute of California, 2009).

• CSU Stanislaus generates a total annual impact of $169 million to the regional economy and $269 million to the statewide economy.
• The economic contribution of CSU Stanislaus sustains more than 2,000 regional jobs.
• Nearly $677 million in earnings and $1 billion in statewide industry activity by CSU Stanislaus alumni are directly attributable to their degrees.
• For every $1 appropriated by the state, $2.83 in regional and $4.50 in statewide spending is generated. Factoring in the enhanced earnings of CSU graduates in the Central Valley, nearly $20 in total spending result from every dollar the state invests.

• The Princeton Review consistently ranks CSU Stanislaus as one of the best undergraduate colleges, a distinction awarded to only 15 percent of colleges and universities in the United States.
• The American Association of State Colleges and Universities recognized CSU Stanislaus as one of 12 public universities nationwide that demonstrates exceptional performance in improving retention and graduation rates.
