Privacy Policy |
The Career Services Center at California State University, Stanislaus complies with California State University requirements for preserving the privacy of its students and alumni. No personal information is shared with outside constituents without the written authorization of the student or graduate utilizing the services of the Career Services Center. |

Non-discrimination Policy |
Employers and recruiters who list job vacancies with the Career Services Center are required to assure that these vacancies will be filled according to legally defined equal opportunity and non-discrimination guidelines. The Career Services Center does not make available its interviewing facilities, job listing, or other services to employers who unlawfully discriminate in the selection of employees on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital status, pregnancy, age, disability, veteran’s status, or any other basis prohibited by applicable law. |

Third-party Recruiting Policy |
The Career Services Center does not make its facilities or services available to third-party recruiters, including employment agencies, temporary agencies, and search firms. These entities typically contract with employers to fill a vacancy, whether temporary or permanent, for a fee. No referrals of student or alumni candidates or their resumes will be made to any third-party recruiter. |

Reciprocal Services Policy |

Services
Reciprocity clients have access to one appointment session for career and job search counseling, may attend any of the career-related workshops and Career Fair events, review job listings in the Career Services Center, and may visit our Career Library to use career exploration resources, industry directories, and computers with Internet access.

Restrictions
Access to career counseling and campus interviews on a space available basis after all CSU Stanislaus students and alumni have been accommodated. Reciprocity is granted only to other CSU institutions, and not to University of California or to other public or private institutions in California or out of state.

Fees
No fees are charged to reciprocal status clients or to CSU Stanislaus alumni.

Identification
Reciprocity clients must check in with the Career Services Center staff, present photograph identification, and show current reciprocal card issued by their home campus.

Job Posting Policy & Guidelines |
In the interest of serving our student population by providing a wide range of employment and career information, the Career Services Center’s policy is to post job information from employers and recruiters under the following guidelines:
- The position does not restrict consideration to specific groups, for example, disabled students or to ethnic minorities.
- The employer provides complete disclosure of the nature of the position, including compensation, responsibilities, and application requirements.
- The employer does not charge students or candidates any fee associated with the application or hiring for the position.
- The employer or recruiter provides written assurances that the vacancy will be filled in accordance with Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity guidelines.
- The employer or recruiter is not requiring an initial payment or investment to a parent corporation from the candidate.
