Campus Services
The University Police Department provides services and assistance to the campus community and surrounding neighborhoods 24/7. As California sworn officers, Police Department officers also serve the neighborhoods adjacent to the campus. The university has installed blue light phones around campus for emergencies. Calls are handled by the University Police Department dispatcher. University Police Department also manages a Peer Escort Program to accompany evening students to their cars or classrooms and offers self-defense and whistle-defense workshops.
