JavaScript
Check		 Fail

If this check fails, you will need to enable Javascript for your browser. Java is included in Mac OS X updates through OS 10.6 and needs no other downloading or setting.
Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion) no longer has Java runtime as part of the operating system installation.
When you use software requiring it, you are prompted to install the Java runtime. Follow the onscreen installation instructions.
Or, go to Applications > Utilities and open Java Preferences. If Java is not installed, follow the onscreen instructions.

Cookies
Check		 Fail If this check fails, you will need to enable Cookies for your browser.

Popup
Window
Check		 Fail If this check fails, you will need to enable Popup Windows for your browser for Bb tests and other activities requiring Popup Windows.

- Enabling Popup Windows in Mozilla Firefox (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

You will also need to disable any browser toolbars that have popup blockers.

 
Port 80
Check		 Fail This check works by trying to download an image through the specified port.  Port 80 is the standard web (http) port.
If this check fails you may need to lower your firewall or computer's security settings.
 
Java
Check
No Java Support.

If you see nothing to the left (or just a gray box) then Java functionality is not available.

Blackboard currently supports Java™ 6 Update 13. Java Runtime Environment 5 (JRE™ 5) is no longer supported.
Older versions may work, but if you're experiencing problems with Blackboard, Windows users can update at Java Plug-in.

Mac users have the Java update included in the Software Update from Apple.

Check your browser plugins to view media in Blackboard.
