Byron A. Kamp, ASI/USU Executive Director I was hired in July 2007 to be the first Executive Director for both the CSU Stanislaus Associated Students Inc. and the University Student Union Inc. As the Executive Director, I report to the ASI and to the USU Board of Directors, as well as to the Chairperson for each respective Board of Directors. In a nut-shell, I am ultimately responsible for everything that takes place within both organizations. Fortunately, we have a combined full-time staff of nine and a combined student assistant staff of about sixty. Because of their efforts, both organizations operate in an efficient and effective way, fulfilling the goals and objectives as set by each Board of Directors. |
Cesar Rumayor, ASI Assistant Director The Associate Executive Director primary responsibilities are to assist the Executive Director with financial, legal and administrative management as well as develop and manage Special Events such as StanFest, Homecoming, Lecture Series, and Warrior Day. Has oversight of the following programming groups: ASI Warrior Squad, ASI Warrior Fanatics and the USU Program Board. Also has oversight of the overall marketing of programs and to provide Leadership Development for students in the Board of Directors, student assistants and student volunteers. |
Ammie Mundello, HR Specialist The HR Specialist is responsible for planning, directing and maintaining all human resources functions on a daily basis for the Associated Students, Inc./University Student Union to include administration of benefits and compensation programs, payroll and personnel records, leave usage, staff recruitment, orientation and training, risk management, employee relations, and compliance reporting. |
Cari Calad, ASI Programs and Leadership Manager The ASI Programs and Leadership Manager performs related work as required to create and administer programs in the area of sustainability and community service; to coordinate leadership training and learning outcomes and student assessment; is responsible for the overall operation of the University Student Union Game Room and of University Student Union Information Desk. |
Kathy Holloway, ASI Administrative Assistant The Administrative Assistant for the Administration Dept. of ASI responsibilities include: managing all financial and accounting records for the ASI; processing payroll for ASI and USU; cash receipt posting, processing requisitions, disbursement of funds, and maintaining subsidiary ledgers; makes all ASI and USU travel arrangements; monthly reconciliation of ASI credit card statements; and serves as clerk to the ASI Board of Directors, taking/preparing official meeting minutes and maintaining all official Board documents. |
Katie Wall, WAC Administrative Assistant The WAC Administrative Assistant provides administrative and general support for the Warrior Activities Center. Oversees student work staff including Front desk, Mascot, and Program Technicians. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for equipment reservation requests from all student groups in the Quad and Warrior Grill. This position also plans and coordinates “Monday Pick Me Up’s” in the student union and oversees the Warrior Discounter. |
Melanie Lourenco, USU Office Administrator Manages all financial and accounting records for the University Student Union (USU) and its various programs and services; assists the Executive Director in the overall coordination and direction of the USU administrative and fiscal operations; provides administrative office support for the USU & its Board of Directors; performs management duties and oversees the USU clerical office staff. |
Melissa Goodman, USU Facilities and Reservations Coordinator The USU Facility/Reservation Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling and event planning for individuals and groups interested in reserving the Quad and University Student Union facilities. The Facility/Reservation Coordinator is also responsible for equipment rental requests which include but are not limited to, AV equipment, stages, tables and chairs. |
Nic Peterson, Recreation and Wellness Coordinator The Recreation and Wellness Coordinator oversees the intramural sports assistant, all on-site intramural staff, and the wellness assistant. The position maintains budget for both intramurals and wellness, hires and trains intramural staff, develops procedures and policies for all sports, collaborates with other departments in developing and implementing a strong wellness program, and implement short and long term goals for both intramurals and wellness. |

Has oversight of the marketing team responsible for the marketing to increase participation and positive awareness of programs and services offered by the ASI and USU; as well as various marketing services offered to the campus community. |
