“Ecstasy” will feature painter Mark Nobriga’s portrayal of American consumerism and its evolution into a religious passion. He examines the blurred boundary between consumer culture and religion. Utilizing the lighting and technical devices of Renaissance painters, he depicts subject matter taken from the religious imagery of his Catholic youth.
