| The Central California Information Center (CCIC), under the auspices of the State Office of Historic Preservation (OHP), Sacramento, maintains the historical resources information system for the seven-county service area which includes Alpine, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tuolumne Counties, California , on the California State University, Stanislaus (CSUS) campus.
The information system at CSUS serves this regional historic preservation community by accumulating and disseminating numerous types of data including prehistoric and historic archaeological resource records, archaeological and historical investigative reports, the files of the Historic Resource Inventory as well as other types of primary and secondary historic data pertaining to the CCIC area of responsibility.
