The Counselor Education (School Counseling) Program offers two programs: One leads to a Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Counselor Education and the second leads to a Master’s Degree in Education, as well as the Pupil Personnel Services Credential. The credential is required of individuals who want to work in a K-12 school setting, and a master's degree that is required by community counseling agencies, and institutions of higher education. Candidates may obtain the master’s degree alone, or both the degree and the credential.
