Transfer Scholarships
Types of Scholarships Available Scholarships may be funded by private donations, donations from business organizations, or scholarship endowment accounts.
Recruiting Scholarships: Scholarships for entering freshmen and transferring community college students only.
Department Scholarships: Scholarships for students majoring in a specific major.
Open Scholarships: Unrestricted scholarships open to all majors.
CSU Stanislaus offers the following scholarships for qualified, incoming, full-time (10 credits or more) transfer students. Awards will be based on a minimum cumulative transfer college Grade Point Average (on a 4.0 scale).
Provost’s Achievement Award for Community College Transfers
$2,000 each (10) (up to 2 years)
Minimum 3.5 transfer GPA and 45 transferable credits at the time of application and completion of 56 transferable credits prior to fall semester. Must be enrolled in the University Honors Program. Must be a California resident.
Modesto Kiwanis Club & Greater Modesto Kiwanis Club Scholarship
$1,000 each (1)
Minimum 2.5 transfer GPA and 24 transferable credits minimum. Available to Agricultural Studies majors transferring from Modesto Junior College.
David S. Goedecke Music Scholarship
Number and Amount Varies
Available to Music majors. Minimum 3.0 transfer GPA is required.
Robert Cardoza Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 each (2)
Available to Business Admin and/or Agricultural Studies majors transferring from Modesto Junior College. Minimum 2.0 transfer GPA is required.
Club Mercedes Memorial for Chet Cortez Scholarship
Number and Amount varies
Open to all majors. Minimum 3.00 transfer GPA. Available to students transferring from Merced College.
Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
$300 each (1)
Open to all majors. Minimum 3.5 transfer GPA and completion of 24 transferable credits prior to fall semester.
