What's Next for You for Fall 2011?
MyCSUSTAN
If you have not already done so, it is important that you go online to your student self-service website at my.csustan.edu and set up your login information (see instructions in your admit letter). MyCSUSTAN will allow you to review the conditions of your admission; declare intent; check financial aid status, account balances, and more.
INTENT TO ENROLL
The deadline to notify the University of your Intent to Enroll is no later than two weeks after receiving your admissions packet. Failure to declare your intent to enroll will result in your admission being cancelled and your application withdrawn from the University. You may go to your student self-service web site to declare your intent: my.csustan.edu.
TESTING
If you are not otherwise exempt you must test for English and mathematics placement immediately, but not later than May, 2011. Early testing facilitates an early Orientation date and a better selection of classes. For available test dates, and testing information, go to the Testing web site at: www.csustan.edu/testing
NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
You are required to attend New Student Orientation in order to receive your class schedule prior to the first day of classes. Online registration for NSO begins March 2011. You will receive advising, first-time registration assistance, and other valuable information. To learn more or to register for New Student Orientation, visit www.csustan.edu/studentlife/nso/
FINANCIAL AID
File your Free Application for Financial Aid at www.FAFSA.gov. The earliest you can file is January 1, 2011, and the priority deadline is March 2, 2011. The school code for CSU Stanislaus is 001157. In order to complete your application for a Cal Grant, your verified grade point average will need to be submitted to the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC). Find out if your school plans to submit it for you. If not, obtain the GPA Verification Form from your school, have it completed, and send it to CSAC.
HOUSING APPLICATIONS
Reserve your spot as soon as possible. The online housing application will be available at the Housing and Residential Life web site (www.csustan.edu/housing) December 2010. For additional information, please contact the Housing Office at (209) 667-3675. www.csustan.edu/housing/
FINAL OFFICIAL HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS
Transcripts requiring verification of passing the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) and showing your date of graduation, must be received before July 15th or your admission will be rescinded and you will be disenrolled from classes for the Fall 2011 term.
