- From the Geological Society to the Paleo Club, there are fun clubs and organizations to join.
- The College is home to the Endangered Species Recovery Program, a cooperative program with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Its mission is to facilitate endangered species recovery.
