Communication touches upon all aspects of our lives, from our interpersonal relationships to our use of media. Communication Studies features top-quality faculty teaching relatively small classes. The program presents a balance of humanistic and scientific instruction including the communication skills people need to function effectively in all professions.

COMM 3140: Persuasive Messages
Students will examine the logical and psychological principles used in oral and written persuasive messages. Students will analyze the persuasive process and develop effective rhetorical messages. Ethical responsibility of the communicators will be considered.
