The College of Human and Health Sciences teaches students the basic and applied scientifi c principles of their chosen disciplines, preparing them to provide health and human services to individuals, families, groups, and communities. The College, through nationally accredited programs, offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Child Development, Nursing, Psychology and Social Work.

Undergraduate Programs

• Bachelor of Arts, Child Development
• Bachelor of Science, Nursing, with the ability to choose one of three tracks: RN to B.S.N, L.V.N. to B.S.N., and a pre-licensure B.S.N. track
• Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, with concentrations in Developmental Psychology or Experimental Psychology
• ASBSN degree program, non-nursing Baccalaureate prepared students earn a second degree in Nursing (BSN)

• Master of Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Child Development
• Child Development Certificate
• Master of Science, Nursing, with concentrations in Nursing Education and Gerontological Nursing
• Master of Arts, Psychology
• Master of Science, Psychology with concentrations in Behavior Analysis or Counseling Psychology
• Master of Social Work

• The College is known as one of the premier trainers of nurses in the region. The Nursing major is among the University's top five undergraduate programs.
• The Child Development program prepares students for professional occupations with children and families. Our graduates work for a wide range of local agencies as teachers, program supervisors, interventionists and developmental specialists.
• Psychology Department graduates work in a broad range of agencies as counselors staff, licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, consultants and administrators.
• The Social Work Department is among the largest graduate programs on campus. Over 600 MSW graduates now serve the region as social workers in community and social service agencies.
