  • Early payment is encouraged to avoid assessment of Late Fee Payment Penalty, which will be assessed after each deadline above that your registration fees remain unpaid.

FAILURE TO PAY REGISTRATION FEES WHEN DUE:
Students are responsible to pay all fees associated with their enrollment and with other University policies. Students who fail to pay registration fees when due as listed under Fee Payment Deadlines will be subject to late payment fees. No automatic disenrollment action for not attending classes will be taken! Your enrollment is not cancelled by not attending classes for which you have registered. Students may not rely on any University personnel, including faculty, instructors, school or college deans, department secretaries or any other person to add or drop classes on the student's behalf.

Additionally, failure to withdraw from all courses prior to the first day of the term will subject the student to pro-rated tuition and registration fees. The pro-rata liability is determined on the basis of the date of the student's withdrawal and the length of the academic period. The length of the academic period is calculated from the first day of instruction through the final exam day of the period and excludes any breaks of five (5) days or more.

For example: The first day of instruction for Fall is September 9, the final day of the exam period is December 18, and there are no breaks longer than 4 days. The length of the academic period is 101 days. A withdrawal on September 20, would subject the student to 12 days pro-rated registration fees. If the undergraduate student had enrolled in full-time units, their liability would be $1967.50 X 12 / 101 = $233.76.
