Biography
Born and raised in Crowslanding, CA, I attended MJC and received my Associates Degree. Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor’s in Computer Information Systems. I also work for the University Student Union as the Systems Analyst.
Why did you choose CSU Stanislaus?
I knew CSU Stanislaus had a great school of business, and I knew a few CIS graduates who were quite happy with their education and were able to achieve their career goals.
What advice would you give a prospective student?
CSU Stanislaus is a great university that will help you in achieving your goals; it is a great place for you to learn and grow as an individual.
What has been your favorite academic or student life experience so far?
My favorite academic experience has been being able to see my goals become a reality. Before they seemed too far away, but now I see them getting closer and closer.
What is your career objective?
To obtain a career in Information Systems. I plan on earning my Microsoft Certification and my Oracle certifications. My goal is to work as a Database Administrator.
What clubs, sports, and activities have you participated in?
I am an active musician; I play in two musical groups - Quatro Quartet and Thank You Springton. Music has definitely been a huge part of my life and has helped to shape the person I am today.
Who is your most influential personal and/or University mentor?
In the CIS department, two professors have really stood out - Dr. Pengtao Li and Al Tsacle. Both professors have taught me a lot and have helped me in pursuing my career objectives.
