Career/Life Achievements
To me, any person who graduates college should be proud; it’s a huge achievement. I’ve worked hard since I was five years old to become who I am now, a college graduate. I have had the chance to do so many things since I have been in college. Although I feel that I have already accomplished so much in my life, graduating is by far the most rewarding.
Passions/Interests/Life Goals
Right now my main interest is my career goal. I would love to work for an advertising agency in the Central Valley. I think I can really contribute to some of the smaller, family-owned businesses in this area. As far as interests, family comes first. I have two Scottish terriers and they are part of the family, too!
I chose CSU Stanislaus because...
Initially, I chose it because it was close to home. I live 45 minutes from the campus so I could still see my parents. Once I came to the school, the beauty of the campus was like nothing I had ever seen before. After starting course work, I knew that Stanislaus was the right pick for me. The staff and faculty here are amazing because they truly care. Unlike bigger schools, at Stanislaus you have the opportunity to meet one on one with every teacher.
Most memorable experience at CSU Stanislaus
Overall, the entire CSU Stanislaus experience has been memorable. The people here are wonderful and would do anything to help students. One thing I would like to see incoming students do is get involved in student life. College is about learning about who you are. I recommend new students to be in as many clubs and organizations as they can while still being active in their academics. It truly will make your college experience a memorable one.
