Biography
I was born in Modesto and raised in Patterson, California. My parents work in agriculture and I work with them during the summers. I am Salvadoran-American and I can speak fluently in English and Spanish. I am currently majoring in Psychology and minoring in Gender Studies. I am also President of the Hunger Network club on campus and I have studied abroad in Alicante, Spain. I love working with people and helping others in our community.
Why did you choose CSU Stanislaus?
I chose CSU Stanislaus because of its location and small campus atmosphere. I come from small schools in rural communities so CSU Stanislaus was a nice transition going into college.
What advice would you give a prospective student?
My favorite student life experience so far has been serving as President of the Hunger Network club on campus and having the opportunity to help the community as much as possible throughout the year.

What clubs, sports, and activities have you participated in?
I am actively involved on campus through clubs such as the Hunger Network, Psi Chi, Lambda Sigma Gamma, the Honors Program, and the Student Leadership Program.
Who is your most influential personal and/or University mentor?
My most influential personal mentors are my parents because they are very supportive of my education. They are constantly encouraging me and helping me in any way possible to accomplish my educational goals.
