Why did you choose CSU Stanislaus?
I am from Nanning, China. It is a tropical city of about 5 million residents, located in the southern part of China. I have seven family members, and I miss them. I chose CSU Stanislaus because of its safe environment. It is also rated as a “Best Value” school, which is important for international students like me.
What does ‘learning’ mean to you, as it pertains to a college environment?
To me, learning means self-improvement. There are two sides of it: to know who I am, and to find where I fit into society. On my way to pursing my degree, I am becoming more clear about what I want and what I am good at. And that is very helpful to my future career.
What clubs, sports, and activities in which have you participated? Any fun/memorable experiences?
I enjoy swimming and working out.
What makes you tick? What do you do for fun?
I really like to hang out with my friends.
How would you convince a prospective student that CSU Stanislaus is the best fit for their higher education needs?
CSU Stanislaus has good reputation in higher education. The faculty members here are helpful and knowledgeable. The student body of the school is excellent, and the tuition is acceptable compared to other systems.
