Warriors on the Way to STEM (WOW 2 STEM) is the transfer component of STEM Success Grant. Stanislaus State is seeking to expand transfer articulation practices across top regional feeder campuses to promote STEM transfer pathways.
Benefits of participating in WOW 2 STEM:
- Science-focused transfer counseling, student orientations, & workshops
- Access to the STEM Transfer Success Coordinator and Peer Mentors, including receiving one on one help transferring to Stanislaus State
- Regular access to Stanislaus State STEM faculty
- An inside track to securing a position as an undergraduate research associate
To be eligible for WOW 2 STEM, students must:
- Be a community college student
- Be a student planning to transfer to Stanislaus State in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Math, Physics or Physical Science
WOW 2 STEM student expectations:
- Meet with a counselor each semester at your community college
- Follow a student educational plan as outlined by the STEM Transfer Success Coordinator
- Attend presentations and workshops throughout the year
- Follow application dates and deadlines as directed by the STEM Transfer Success Coordinator and Stanislaus State
