Korinna De La Rosa
Hi my name is Korinna De La Rosa and I am a Junior majoring in Nursing. I am a first generation college student from a family of seven. I am originally from Kingsburg, CA but have called Turlock my home these last 4 years. I have always wanted to do something in the medical field and I decided that Nursing would be a great place to start my career. I eventually want to go back to school later in my career to become Nurse Practitioner. I will graduating in the Fall of 2010 and I can’t wait. I enjoy working here at SSS and I love being able to interact with the students in our program. I am also a SSS participant and utilize the services offered as much as I
can. SSS has helped me stay on track, and has given me the tools in order to succeed. If you ever have any questions about applying or just want to know what SSS is about, come on up to our office and you will be glad you did.

Jorge Perez
Hi everyone! My name is Jorge Perez. I currently on my 3rd year as a Criminal Justice major here at CSU Stanislaus. I come from Denair, CA, which is down the street from the campus. I am a brother of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. (NAK), an EOP student, and as well an SSS student. I enjoy being on the outdoors, anything from hiking to playing sports: you name it i play it. After I graduate from CSU Stanislaus I want to become a Police Officer and later on in life i want to return to school and achieve a Masters in Counseling. Student Support Services is a great
for freshman, sophomore, and juniors because it offers advising, activities, events, and workshops (ranging from financial aid to how to study). I recommend it for everyone! Can’t wait to see new and old faces. If anyone needs anything I’m always here.
