DianaDemetruliasAs the Vice Provost, Dr. Diana Demetrulias serves in the absence of the Provost and assists the Provost to achieve the University's commitment to the preeminence of the quality of student learning, exemplary teaching, and scholarly excellence. The Vice Provost’s responsibilities span academic affairs and extend into important collaborative projects throughout the university related to assessment and quality assurance. Dr. Demetrulias provides leadership for undergraduate and graduate curriculum, educational policy, accreditation, assessment and quality assurance, service learning, and other related-academic support functions. She serves also as the University's liaison officer for regional accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Vice Provost Demetrulias has impressive accomplishments and extensive leadership experience. Prior to her current position, Vice Provost Demetrulias served as Dean of the Graduate School and Dean of the College of Education at CSU Stanislaus and holds a tenured position in the Department of Teacher Education and the Department of Advanced Studies in Education. She also served in faculty and administrative roles at Bradley University, taught high school English, and served in educational leadership roles in several states, She holds a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and a master's and doctorate from Ball State University. Dr. Demetrulias' scholarly record includes research related to K-12 schooling, pre-collegiate and higher education, as well as funded grants and literary and oral history publications.
