The Property Services Department mission is to deliver superior and responsive internal services to university agencies while maximizing effectiveness and minimizing costs in the areas of central receiving, mail services, property, surplus and records management.
Property Services consists of five main divisions; central receiving, mail services, property control, surplus property and records management. The Central receiving will receive materials and equipment; inspect items received for quantity, quality, condition and any special specifications as indicated on the purchase order and distribute the incoming packages. Mail services provides metered mail service for outgoing USPS mail and distribution of all incoming mail. Property control is responsible for the accountability of all university Fixed Assets. Surplus property is focused on reutilization and redistribution of usable University assets. Records Management pertains to the retention of university records according to the Records Retention Policy.
