his Bachelor of Arts in Music from California State
University, Hayward. He has served as principal
trumpet with the Modesto Symphony Orchestra,
Oakland Eastbay Symphony, Sacramento Symphony and
the Oakland Ballet. He has performed regularly at
Bay Area youth concerts with the Pacific Brass
Quintet, the Early Morning Brass Quintet and he has
performed in the Bel Canto Brass Community Concert
Series. He was first/second trumpet in the European
Tour Orchestra of A Chorus Line. He has studied
with Marvin Nelson (former principal trumpet of the
San Francisoc Symphony and Oakland Symphony), David
Brukhart (former principal trumpet, Oakland
Symphony), and Roy Poper (freelance artist, Los
Angeles).
