Retention and Graduation Rates
The following tables provide annual retention and cumulative graduation rates for first-time, full-time, degree-seeking freshmen and first-time, full-time transfer student cohorts that entered CSU Stanislaus from fall 1990 to the current fall semester. As appropriate, the cohort groups may be tracked up to seven years. Each row in the detailed data tables represent events for a single cohort. The first-time, full-time freshmen retention and graduation rates methodology follow IPEDS Graduation Rate Survey (GRS) guidelines, for compliance with the Student Right-To-Know (SRTK) Act. The percent of students completing their degree program within 150 percent of normal time – or within six years – is commonly referred to as the institution’s (six-year) “graduation rate.” The criteria for tracking first-time, full-time transfer retention and graduation rates were developed internally, and include upper-division, California Community College (CCC) transfer students. Retention and graduation rates for graduate students is currently under development.
