Located in the heart of California’s Central Valley, California State University, Stanislaus, also known as Stanislaus State or simply Stan State is part of the California State University system and was established in 1957 in Turlock, California. CSU Stanislaus is a public university that offers over 100 majors, minors, concentrations and teaching credentials, 24 master's degree programs and six graduate certificate programs as well as an Executive MBA and a doctoral degree program in Education Leadership. CSU Stanislaus has been rated in the top 10 public universities in the new West Coast Master's category by U.S. News & World Report magazine as well as a best buy in higher education for the past seven years. California State University Stanislaus’ vision is to: strives to become a major center of learning, intellectual pursuit, artistic excellence and cultural engagement for California’s greater Central Valley and beyond.
