Accreditation is a voluntary, non-governmental quality assurance process established in order to assist institutions in developing and managing high quality standards and criterion for educational programs through regular assessment, planning, implementing, monitoring and reassessment.  CSU Stanislaus has been continuously accredited since 1963 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), one of the leading official academic commissions, recognized by the US Department of Education, responsible for the accreditation of public and private universities, colleges, secondary and elementary schools in the United States.  Currently, CSU Stanislaus is seeking reaccreditation by WASC.

Links to the accreditation efforts, including timelines, reports, and data can be accessed here.
