Housing Residential Life
Meal Plans
Meal plans are required as part of all housing contracts.  Residents may choose between a number of meal plan options based on their classification as a freshman or upperclass resident.

Meal plans have two components: block meals and flex dollars.  Block meals can be used at 3 locations on campus.  Resident block meals for 2010-11 have a value of $7.50 per meal.  Flex dollars function as a declining balance amount and can be used at any of the campus dining locations.

Detailed breakdowns for freshman, sophomore and upperclass plans are posted under the Campus Dining section of the housing website. There are 3 freshman plan options and 6 upperclass plan options.

Meal plan balances roll between terms, but do not roll between contract periods.  Funds not utilized by the last day of the contract term are forfeit to the campus dining vendor.

Residents can change their meal plan level or meal plan distribution for a 10-day (working days) period after check-in.  Residents who wish to make a change to their meal plan should email a request to change their meal plan option to Ms. Renee Giannini, the Housing Accounts Coordinator.
