• Must have graduated from the Merced Union High School District June 1973, or any year thereafter
• Shall be ineligible to apply after ten semesters of equivalent college attendance or completion of a baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first

Scholarships for children of strawberry farm workers, awards start at $400 and can be renewed annually

• must have at least one parent who is a strawberry field worker in California
• full-time enrollment is required

• Applicants must be former residents of the shelter (for any duration)
• Must possess and maintain good academic standing during year award is received

• Financial need required (apply and qualify for financial aid using the 2011-2012 FAFSA form before 3-2-2011)
• Applicants must be former dependents of the San Joaquin County foster care system

Award recipients will need to submit a letter of thanks addressed to the Mary Graham Children’s Shelter scholarship committee with a summary as to how the award is enabling them to achieve their educational goals.

Two scholarships offered through the Modesto Rotary Club

• Ambassadorial Scholarship for Study Abroad - $27,000 for one year study abroad for undergraduates and graduates
• World Peace Fellowship - funds a master's degree or professional development certificate in international relations and conflict abroad   at one of seven Rotary peace centers around the world.

Scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year to commemorate the Founding Fathers of our country and to foster interest in historical colonial research
