Cancellation of Loans
CANCELLATION OF UP TO $9,000 IN LOANS
When you commit to teach:
Bilingual Education, Reading, Specialist, Mathematics, Science, Special Education or in a low income school.
Applications must currently have an outstanding student loan or be approved for one. If you are interested in additional information about the APLE program, please E-Mail the Financial Aid Office.
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic merit as evidenced by a 2.0 GPA in academic major.
- Completion of at least 60 semester units prior to Fall 2008.
- Four year teacher commitment.
- Must not complete credential program prior to Fall 2008.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen.
