California State University, Stanislaus is celebrating 50 years of higher education excellence through 2010. Marking our half century of higher education service gives us the opportunity to celebrate the University’s rich history along with our present day achievements. In addition, it is a chance to reflect upon the great partnership between the people of Turlock, the surrounding area, and CSU Stanislaus.
Over the years, the University has presented many outstanding cultural and educational events featuring concerts, lectures and theatrical productions. The annual Fantastic Fourth event has been a Fourth of July tradition for the past 24 years and has attracted over 200,000 people to the University campus.
Fantastic Fourth, which has featured a fireworks show, concert in the University Amphitheatre, and activities for children has been successful in large part because of the participation of our wider community. We thank you for your support of these programs.
The generosity of the business community and individuals alike has helped make the Fantastic Fourth a great success.
