Message from the President
It is with the greatest respect and admiration that I welcome you, our new faculty members, to California State University, Stanislaus. As President, my most important goal is to serve the faculty, students, and staff at the highest level of dedication and achievement.
You are joining a university that is moving forward to achieve an ambitious program, including sustaining the qualities that have served the institution so well, while preparing ourselves to grasp new opportunities for teaching excellence; academic programs; service to the community; and research, scholarship, and creative activity.
I commend our faculty’s innovation and ingenuity. The University’s culture takes pride in the intellectual achievement and pedagogy of our faculty by investing in a high-quality and diverse professoriate and by supporting faculty development. I encourage you to participate and take full advantage of the activities and training opportunities provided by the Faculty Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and to grow your own mind and experiences as you help our students to grow theirs.
