POSITION:
|
PART-TIME LECTURER (online) IN ETHNIC STUDIES: The Ethnic Studies program invites applications for a part-time Lecturer position in Fall 2012 to teach a fully online section of an upper-division Ethnic Studies course in our General Education program. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence and effective use of an online teaching platform suitable for the following course: ETHS 4350 “Multiculturalism: Bias to Reality” (an online section). No advising or committee responsibilities. |
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:

MA required (ABD or Ph.D. preferred) in Ethnic Studies or a closely related field; MA and ABD candidates will be given careful consideration with demonstrated evidence of high-quality undergraduate teaching in a fully online or hybrid format. |

| ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT and THE COLLEGE: The Ethnic Studies faculty offers a range of courses covering Chicano, Asian American, and African American Studies. In addition to several course offerings serving our General Education program, the Ethnic Studies program supports a small major in Ethnic Studies and minors in Ethnic Studies, Chicano Studies, Asian American Studies, and African American Studies. |
CAMPUS & AREA: California State University, Stanislaus serves the San Joaquin Valley, one of the fastest growing areas in the country.
